There is one cow family synonomus with Avonlea and that is the KITTY family. While we have been making K cows for over 35 years, the KOOKIE branch of this family has come to the forefront.
Kookie was nominated All Canadian in milking form seven time (2xAll Canadian, 2x Reserve and 1x Hon. Ment). She left us with over 11EX and 6VG daughters to date.

The MISCHIEF family traces its roots to one of the original cows purchased to start the Avonlea herd in 1934 - Maplecrest Iona.
Today, this family is foremost on the minds of show enthusiasts world-wide, as Renaissance Mischief is the Grand Dam of MUSQIE IATOLA MARTHA - EX97 - Supreme Champion at WDE 2016 and RAWF 2015, 2016, & 2017.
Renaissance Mischief is also the dam of Avonlea Mischief's Magnolia-ET - SupEx92-4E - the 2016 Jersey Canada Cow of the Year.

Karlie won the hearts of Jersey breeders everywhere when she was named Grand Champion at WDE and RAWF in 2013. She is a direct descendant of Butterfield Burgess Keeper - EX93.
At the Arethusa Avonlea Summer Splash Sale 2015, we were fortunate to bring home her GILLER daughter - KARLIES GILLER KYLIE. We are excited to see what the future brings for our branch of the Karlie family.

Avonlea Comerica Velvet - EX 94
Velvet sold in the Avonlea Summer Splash IV Sale to Patty Jones and Vogue Cattle Co as a just fresh Junior Two Year Old. It didn't take long for Cybil Fisher to join the partnership. Velvet went on to be named Reserve All Canadian Junior Two Year Old in 2013 and All Canadian Junior Three Year Old in 2014. Since this time, Velvet has been sold to Rivendale Farms. She has two beautiful PREMIER calves here at the farm (that the original partnership still own) as well as an ONTIME daughter with big type numbers that is owned by Cybil, Patty and Avonlea -- we look forward to working with and developing these exciting heifers.
Velvet is a direct desc. of EX97 Veronica.
TJ Classic Minister Venus - EX 95
Venus was named Supreme Champion at WDE and All American 2014, becoming one of the only daughter / dam duos to accomplish this feat (Grand Champion). When the opportunity to purchase a full sister to Venus became available in 2015 at the Arethusa Avonlea Summer Splash, we along with Cybil Fisher and our friends at Bushlea Jerseys in Australia jumped at the chance. MINI VENUS has been flushed and is now in calf to calve in the fall of 2017. To say the least, we are anxiously awaiting the freshening of this individual.
