Avonlea Genetics is a 4th generation Jersey herd in Brighton, Ontario.  

The herd was established in 1934 by Bill and Jack Featherstone (Jennifer's grandfather and Great Uncle).   They purchased 6 cows and 1 bull from BH Bull and Sons to start the herd -- and 2 of these cows are still making a profound impact on the breed today!  

We breed for a balance of type and production with an emphasis on cow family. 

Today the herd is managed by Jim & Liz Livock, Andrew & Jennifer Vander Meulen and their children Taylor and WIll.
